Night Pacifiers
When Sophia was a baby, she loved her pacifiers. After many a night bumping around in the dark (or blinding ourselves turning the light on while half-asleep) to find a fallen paci, my husband said, “They should make pacifiers that glow in dark.”
Well, someone was listening. When the representative for MAM said she was sending “night pacifiers” for my Baby Shower for Jesus, I thought, “What’s a night pacifier? Why would a pacifier for nighttime be different than what the baby sucks on during the day?” It glows in the dark! Seriously, if your baby takes a pacifier, this is one of the best inventions ever!
Breathable Pacifiers
MAM has another new pacifier style, as well. Not nighttime-specific (not that you couldn’t use the glowing pacis during the day), these have large cut-out areas, making them more breathable than the more traditional pacifiers. This can help prevent things like drool rashes. (It would make pacifier leashes very easy to attach, too!)
Anti-Colic Bottles
The MAM anti-colic bottle is pretty intriquing. This has a unique vent at the bottom to enable natural milk flow. The intention is to minimize tummy bubbles, as the milk doesn’t glug-glug-glug due to a vacuum in the bottle. My current baby isn’t using a bottle, so I can’t tell you from personal experience that it works, but the design certainly makes sense to me.
(All MAM baby products are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and PVC-free.)
