This Twist & Fold Activity Gym from Infantino has a great feature – it folds/rolls up to be packed away.  This makes it good for travel, and for everyday use in fairly small spaces.

The four upper “bars” (They aren’t really bars; they’re somewhat squishy.) have loops you can clip toys to.  There are several toys included – one with a teether, a crinkly one, and one other, along with a mirror – or you can use any other small toys you would typically clip to a stroller.

There is also a small bolster that can be added to make tummy time easier.

My daughter is a little old for the “gym” portion of this already (which is why there aren’t photos of her using it – she kept trying to crawl off the mat whenever I tried to snap a photo!) but the upper portion can be unclipped and packed away and the mat used alone to provide a clean and/or well-defined play area for an older baby.

While the overall concept (of an activity gym) is really not new, the idea of making it packable is, and I think it’s a significant addition.
