My Dream Sample Box

If you’re anything like me, you often see handmade and/or natural products – especially personal-care products like soaps, lotions, and cosmetics, that you would like to try.  But it’s kind of a pain to try samples from a variety of companies, because then you pay multiple instances of several dollars’ shipping (each), to get individual samples from all the different companies.

Holly has come up with a wonderful solution to this dilemma with My Dream Sample Box. My Dream Sample Box is a program whereby artisans and crafters can submit samples of their products, and buyers can then purchase a whole boxful of various samples, at one pop.  This way, you get samples from a variety of producers, with one single shipping fee!

What I, personally, consider the “regular” box is a boxful of handcrafted samples.  There are several sizes available: the Mini, the Mighty, and the Mega.  In addition, there is a “Masters” box, which is direct-sales samples, and a box especially for kids.  These are done up very nicely; each one arrives in a Priority Mail box (shipping is included in the cost), and when you remove it from the box it looks like a nice gift “basket” wrapped in cellophane.  Here are some pictures of the kids’ box we received for review:

There’s a booboo bunny, a teddy bear with a tutu, various lotions and soaps, hair doodads, pins, etc.  Of course, the exact contents will vary, as the sponsors change over time, but this should give you a little bit of an idea of what you might find.  Check out the Facebook page for a sneak peek at upcoming boxes.
