When I first heard about these awesome hats, my first thought was, “That is brilliant!” My second thought was, “Why haven’t I – or anyone else – thought of this before?”

Fit to Flick hats are hats, for women and girls, with slits up the back to accommodate ponytails (or similar hairstyles) at various heights. If your hair is down, the slit simply closes up to become virtually invisible.

This means no unsightly lumps, and no icky gaps at the back of your head for cold air to get in under your winter cap.

There are several different styles available; all but one are winter caps. All of these winter caps are handmade from natural-fiber yarns. No acrylics here! (The other hat style is a scarf.)

I have the hat pictured here. It’s beautiful, and beautifully made. My only difficulty is that it’s quite large. I have to cuff it for it to fit my head, so if you have a small head like I do, you might want to order one of the girls’ hats.
