I know; it’s off-season for Passover. But you don’t want to wait until it’s already Passover to get your supplies, or they won’t arrive in time! We were so excited to find these items from DaySpring, which are specifically designed for celebrating Passover from a Christian perspective.
The Seder plate is the centerpiece of the celebration. It does have a space for the egg, which we believe was added later and probably has pagan roots, so we skip that part. But each of the little indentations tells you what’s supposed to go in it, so you don’t forget anything. It comes with a Christian Haggadah (order of service).
The goblet is for drinking the Passover wine which eventually became the wine of communion. (That’s an oversimplified explanation.)
If you want just the booklet (without the Seder plate), you can get that, too.
They also have candleholders to match. Personally, I don’t care for them (they’re too boxy for my taste, and we didn’t order these), but they are there if you like/want them.
Keep an eye on these, and you can often find them on sale. (Actually, I just checked, and the Seder plate and candleholders are on sale right now.) And then don’t do what I did, and forget at Passover that you have them. 😉

Yes; I love these! I love the way the wording (like “I am the true vine”) reminds us that Christ is the fulfillment. 🙂

Sorry! This came from DaySpring. It was originally linked but, as I’m searching for it again, it looks like maybe they discontinued it. 🙁 I will have to write them and tell them we’re disappointed!
In the meantime, you might keep an eye out for them on eBay. The collection is the “I Am” collection.
I wrote to DaySpring. They said that their supplier for this product line is no longer in business, which is why it isn’t available at the moment. However, they are looking for a new supplier, so there are plans to have it again.
I recently received an email from DaySpring letting me know these are available again!
