Route 11 potato chips are fairly local to me. I knew this, but I hadn’t really tried them until a couple months ago. Then I really “discovered” them, and I am impressed. A few reasons I love this brand of potato chips:
- They’re local. Okay, for most of you, that’s probably not the case, so it won’t be a huge selling point. But it’s a bonus for me. 🙂
- They’re quality. This is a good company that recognizes and seeks out quality. They source good potatoes, good oils, good salt, etc.
- They’re health-conscious. In a good way. Not in a “cut out all the fat and substitute it with even worse chemical garbage” kind of way. In a “good quality, real ingredients are better for us” kind of way. Not only are there no trans fats in these chips (and they’re specifically noted to be gluten-free, also a plus), they actually use real salt. I mean, really RealSalt. As in, the brand RealSalt — the stuff I use in my own kitchen. As far as I know, that can’t be said about any other potato chips!

(I wasn’t paid to post this. In fact, I didn’t even get free food — ‘though I wouldn’t have complained if I had. 😉 I just wanted to give a shout out to a great company. Happy Potato Chip Day, Route 11!)
