The Salt of the Earth Bath Salt Company was founded on a unique twist to an otherwise common product.  These aromatherapy bath salts are designed to be used as physical reminders of spiritual promises.  Each scent is paired with – and packaged with – a particular passage of Scripture.

Relax with Lavender as you meditate on Psalm 55:22 (“…He will sustain you.”)  Energize with Spearmint & Rosemary as you dwell on Isaiah 40:31 (“They that wait upon the LORD will renew their strength…”)  Soothe with Eucalyptus & Lavender as you think about Matthew 11:28 (“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”)  There is nothing magical or mystical about these salts; they are just simply designed to provide some TLC to your body, while the printed packaging reminds you of Scriptures that can soothe your soul.

They are available in a couple of sizes, and several types of packaging, from 2 ounces to 16 ounces.  The ingredients are all natural, and there is no added colorant.  The salts are very fine, allowing them to dissolve readily in the bath.  (In fact, I found them to dissolve almost instantly, whereas some other bath salts I’ve used in the past just sort of sat there for a while.)  The scent is not overpowering, but the salts and oils were apparent in the bath.

These would make a wonderful gift for an expectant or new mama, who is almost certainly tired!
