The following post is part of a campaign with Twinings. Regardless, all opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

It’s the holiday season — time for giving, and family, and holiday spirit…and busyness! It’s easy to get frazzled with all there is to do, especially as we get down to the wire in terms of being ready for Christmas morning. And for most of us, it’s also cold! So take just a few minutes to take a break, catch your breath, and maybe do so in a way that will warm you up for a little while, too.
Get Cozy
I don’t know about you, but when it gets cold outside, I like to just curl up cozy somewhere in a warm corner (of a couch or easy chair or something) and not have to move for a while. Just let the body heat gather and stay put! My ideal has three ingredients. Maybe yours is a little like this?
Ingredient 1: A cozy blanket on a comfy seat
I actually had to get my oldest a cozy blanket for Christmas this year (hopefully she’ll be excited about it) because it’s been such a favorite that I usually don’t get to use it! But I like to curl up in the corner of a couch, under a super-comfy blanket, where the blanket will hold in my body heat and I can just be warm for a while.
But I don’t like to “do nothing” (it’s just not in my wiring), so then I have to add…
Ingredient 2: A good book or movie
I love to curl up with a good book. I often don’t have one in the house, though (fiction; my nonfiction reading list is about a mile long, but that’s different), so if it’s last-minute I’ll often just grab a Kindle freebie. Sometimes a movie, or a television show we have recorded on our DVR is an option instead.
Ingredient 3: A hot, tasty beverage
When it’s cold out, a hot beverage can really tip this “curling up and destressing time” into a pampering session! Some people like coffee, but…yuck! (I hate coffee.) Tea is healthier, quicker, and has lots of options. (Not to mention it tastes better. *wink*)
Twinings has been around for a long time, so it’s a well-established, trustworthy company — and they have a zillion flavor options. There are multiple varieties of black tea for those who like to keep it traditional, green tea for those looking for the health benefits, herbal teas (also for health benefits, but also variety), some organic options, etc.

Those are just some of the options available. (I had a picture of more of the herbal options, but it didn’t turn out.)

Your Turn!
So…take that much-needed break and de-stress for a little while. (If you need an excuse, it’s good for your health. Really!) Choose your tea, and get it going while you pick out a book or movie.

Then cozy up and enjoy!
