For those of you who are interested, here’s what I’ve been reading this month.
Finished:
- The Square Root of Murder
(This was very clean. If you’re okay with the theme – it is a murder mystery – I think this book is okay for teens and possibly even older children.)
Working On:
And, although I wouldn’t necessarily say I “read” them, I found a neat book at the bookstore, and purchased a handful of books for this year’s schooling. (I was also introduced to Wordoku.)
- The Way We Work
(by the author of The Way Things Work – great anatomy book. You may want to paperclip that last section together; it’s pretty explicit. Don’t miss the “appendix”!)
- How to Teach Art to Children
- Vincent Van Gogh: Sunflowers and Swirly Stars
- John Calvin
- The Church History ABCs
- Name That Style: All About Isms in Art
(Do you all like reading this list in this format, or would you prefer box-style Amazon links with the pictures?)
