Good Girls Don’t Have to Dress Bad: A Style Guide for Every Woman
by Shari Braendel
Shari Braendel is a Christian speaker and author, and the owner of FashionMeetsFaith.com. This site offers some great resources for appearance – including a free “Color Enalysis” to help you determine which colors best complement you. If you like what you see and want to learn more, grab a copy of Good Girls Don’t Have to Dress Bad!
You’d be hard-pressed to find a more thorough overview of style. This book tackles it all – body shape, coloring, face shape. Each aspect of our appearance is sufficiently simplified to be useful, but not over-simplified. (When coloring, for instance, is over-simplified, it starts to just leave people out. Not useful!)
Best of all, each of these topics are handled from a Christian perspective, so modesty is not only kept in mind throughout, but even specifically addressed. Christian women should be both lovely and modest, and this book will help you learn how!
This would make a great gift for a preteen or young teenage girl, or for us grown women who could use a little help.
