Green & Black’s Organic (Chocolate)

Green & Black’s is some of my favorite chocolate.  It’s organic, fair trade, high-quality, and yummy!  A great way to get to know the variety of flavors is with a multi-bar pack.  Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find the sampler they sent me; I can only find a multi-pack of miniature bars on the Canadian or UK sites, but this package (also shown at left) is pretty similar.

Their regular dark chocolate is just the right amount of dark.  (There is an extra-dark chocolate, but I don’t like my chocolate quite that dark.)  The milk chocolate is good, too, and creamy.  There are a variety of options, though, which add things to the chocolate: toffee, ginger, cherries, almonds, etc.  The only one I tried that I truly didn’t care for was the ginger one, and that probably has something to do with the fact that I don’t like ginger. 😉  Even at that, it wasn’t bad.

The bars were cute, too!  Not only were they wrapped to look exactly like miniature versions of the full-size bars, the bars inside the wrappers looked like shrunken versions of the regular bars.  They had little divisions in the chocolate and everything.

This will make a fun addition to our upcoming gift basket – and Green & Black chocolate will make a good addition to any gift baskets you may be putting together, yourself, this season.  (Or open up the package and toss the individual mini bars into stockings.)
