This sponsored post was written while participating in my partnership with Oscar Mayer and One2One Network, but as always, all opinions are my own. I received Deli Fresh BOLD coupons and other related items from Oscar Mayer/Kraft Foods.

When we eat lunch meat (or hot dogs, bacon, etc.), Oscar Mayer is the undisputed household favorite. Now they’ve come out with the Deli Fresh BOLD line, which has some really fun flavors – that POP!
There are four flavors in this line: Italian Style Herb Turkey Breast, Cajun Style Turkey Breast, Maple Honey Ham, and Chipotle Seasoned Chicken Breast. I haven’t tried the Maple Honey Ham, but the other three are all delicious! Because of the way they’re seasoned, even if you eat them “plain,” they’re not boring. But I decided to play a little, with the seasoned meats and a couple of salad dressings. (The Italian Style Herb Turkey Breast didn’t get to participate in the fun, because we finished it off too fast! Maybe next time.)
Gluten-Free “Sandwiches”
There are no artificial flavors or preservatives in these products. And they’re gluten-free, which means I get to eat them, too. (Yay!) But my idea of a “sandwich” is usually not quite a sandwich. See, when gluten-free bread is available, it’s usually really expensive, nutritionally deficient, and not even very good. So my usual method is to just skip the bread altogether and simply roll up the meat and cheese. That’s what I’ve done for this first “sandwich.”
You can also roll it up in a lettuce leaf, as I’ve done with the second “sandwich.” Or you can cut the pieces up small and stack them on crackers. (Crunchmaster makes the ones I’ve had the most success with for stacking cheese and/or meat on.)
So…
Sandwich #1: Chipotle-Bacon-Cheddar-Swiss

For this one I decided to really have some fun with a salad dressing I found while browsing the store: Cheddar Bacon Ranch. (Can you beat that?) I thought it would go really well with the chipotle flavor. I didn’t think to pick up cheddar cheese to go with my sandwich(es) – just Swiss – so that’s what I wrapped it up in. Pretty simple: I just stacked the meat on top of the cheese, spread with the dressing, and rolled it up. Mmmm!

Doesn’t that just look delicious?

(It wouldn’t stop raining the day I made these chipotle wraps, so the color quality in the pictures is less than stellar. Sorry.)

(I’m totally in love with this cutting board. Isn’t it gorgeous?)

Chipotle-Cheddar-Bacon-Swiss Wraps
Ingredients
- Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh BOLD Chipotle Seasoned Chicken
- Sliced Swiss Cheese or stick with Cheddar if you prefer
- Cheddar Bacon Ranch Salad Dressing
- opt. crackers for stacking or lettuce for wrapping (or GF bread)
Instructions
- Stack the chicken on top of the cheese. Spread with dressing.
- Roll up. Or place on a lettuce leaf and roll up. Or cut into pieces and place atop crackers. Or, of course, place between any bread you can eat.

Sandwich #2: (Mock) Buffalo Chicken Turkey Sandwich
For my second sandwich, I went with a Buffalo chicken theme. Buffalo chicken is spiced with hot sauce, much like the Cajun turkey is seasoned with chile pepper. Technically, Buffalo chicken (or turkey) should be paired with Blue Cheese, but lots of us don’t really like Blue Cheese, so we substitute Ranch. It’s a long-standing “thing,” this Ranch substitution.

As I said, I usually just wrap up my meat and cheese, but I tried a lettuce wrap just for you. And discovered that it really doesn’t work very well to try working up from the bottom of the leaf. It would have been much smarter to roll the leaf from side to side so I wasn’t fighting the vein. Lesson learned. (I hope. It might be long enough before I do this again that I’ll have forgotten and will have to re-learn the hard way.)

(Mock) Buffalo Chicken "Sandwich"
Ingredients
- Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh BOLD Cajun Style Turkey
- Sliced Swiss cheese
- Blue Cheese or Ranch salad dressing
- opt. lettuce for wrapping, crackers for stacking, or GF bread
Instructions
- Stack the chicken on top of the cheese. Spread with dressing. (Blue Cheese is more authentic, but some of us don't really like it and prefer to stick with Ranch.)
- Roll up. Or place on a lettuce leaf and roll up. Or cut into pieces and place atop crackers. Or, of course, place between any bread you can eat.

Unfortunately, the lettuce obscures most of the Cajun goodness, from a visual perspective. (You can taste it just fine, don’t worry! It just seems like the photos are all lettuce!)

Is there a combination you’re most looking forward to trying? Have I sparked your creativity at all? I’d love to hear your crazy – or not-so-crazy sandwich/wrap/stack idea – share it in the comments!
