Wildcraft!  Is a truly unique product.  In a nutshell, it is (as the box description states) “a cooperative board game that teaches edible and medicinal plants.”

We got this for our girls for Christmas last year, and they loved it.  Even the then-3-year-old was able to play with us.  And I loved that they learn about useful herbs in the process.

This is a beautiful game.  The game board is a watercolor painting, so it’s not just your standard blocks of color.  In the course of play, players collect “trouble” cards (first aid-type situations) and “plant” cards (plants that are used as remedies).  Of course, the idea is to always have a remedy on hand that is useful for whatever trouble arises!

The only downside around here is that the chips that serve as “blueberries” are so appealing to my children that they get played with and lost all over the house.  We need a replacement blueberry package!
