I checked a book out from our local library the other day, that has some pretty cool ideas in it for making cards. Unlike other card-making books I’ve seen before, the ideas here are “different.” Most of them are based on folk art techniques from a variety of cultures, although they’re adapted so that they aren’t necessarily “pure.” I might actually have to invest in my own copy of the book. 🙂 It’s called Traditional Card Techniques.
I’m looking forward to making some of these cards with the X-Acto/Elmer’s products from my latest BzzKit.

They have a whole new line of scrapbooking and craft products, available at Wal-Mart. (I’m pretty excited about that, too, as Wal-Mart
is often so much less expensive than the big craft stores.)
When I actually get a chance to make some of these cards, I’ll have to post some pictures. 🙂
(Disclosure: The BzzKit – pictured above – was provided by X-Acto/Elmer’s, in connection with BzzAgent, as was the information about the new line and its availability. All opinions expressed here are my own.)
