Citrus Lane has been described as “like a wine of the month club, but with baby products.” You purchase a 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscription, and each month you receive a box of top-rated (naturally-oriented), age-appropriate baby products. I really love the “natural” bent of these packages, and the opportunity to be introduced to new products and companies I wasn’t familiar with before.
I received the box shown – the “welcome home” box – to familiarize me with the product. It comes in a minimalist-but-lovely cardboard box with the cheery yellow printing. The inner packaging was crimped brown paper. All of this was quite attractive, but also eco-friendly.
The products in this particular box included:
- Aden + Anais burpy bib (amazingly soft!)
- Weleda calendula diaper care (I know calendula is great for the skin, but haven’t had a calendula-based diaper cream before.)
- Mommy’s Bliss gripe water
- Sage Creek Organics washcloth (again, very soft)
- Cotton People organic baby doll (so cute! and perfect for tiny hands)
It did, indeed, introduce me to new companies and products. Although I had heard of most of these companies before, I had never purchased anything from any but Weleda. (And I hadn’t tried their diaper ointment before.)
A subscription to Citrus Lane would make a great gift for a new baby, either as a shower gift or a holiday gift.
