Little ones love familiar faces. Zatswho provides a way to make familiar faces more familiar, or to teach the faces of loved ones who don’t live nearby.
Zatswho is a set of six soft (no sharp edges to cause paper cuts) photo recognition flash cards. Of course, they come without the photos so you can add your own. Although they’re intended for faces, and that is how most people will use them, you can put any photos or drawings you want into these.
The soft foam flash cards are six different colors. Once you insert your photo, it is protected by clear plastic. You can seal it in to make it permanent or, if you want to leave it interchangeable, don’t seal the card shut. (It will, of course, be less impervious to drool and have the potential to fall out, but it might be worth that trade-off, depending on your situation/purposes.) The reverse of each card has a shape cutout. There are two hearts, two stars, and two circles, so you can use them for matching, if you like.
The flash card set comes in its own little tote, and includes a slip of paper with some suggestions for use. The cards can be used for color sequencing, matching, recognizing which family members live together, etc. in addition to plain face recognition.
These would make a sweet gift for a baby or toddler.
