This turkey recipe can be made with deli-sliced turkey if you prefer, but it makes a great option for using up turkey leftovers after Thanksgiving.
The sauce is just a flavored basic white sauce, so if you need it to be gluten-free, you can substitute any flour that works well as a 1:1 substitute for “regular” flour when thickening sauces.
I prefer to use the type of parmesan that’s actually grated — as in, shredded like shredded cheddar or mozzarella are. But if all you have is the “powdery” type that comes in a canister, that will work, too.

Ingredients
- 1 10-oz. pkg. broccoli florets
- 1/4 lb sliced turkey cooked!
- 2 Tbs butter
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 2 Tbs grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Cook broccoli until just tender; drain and arrange on the bottom of a greased 8" square baking dish.
- Top with turkey.
- Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour.
- Add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened and smooth. Add bouillon; stir to dissolve.
- Pour sauce over turkey and broccoli; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Put dish under broiler until cheese is light golden and sauce is bubbling hot.
