Together with desserts, snacks are some of the toughest foods to replace when we decide to make the move to real foods. It’s not that real foods snacks are difficult to make, but that our conception of “snacks” is often wrapped up in “junk food.” So here’s a selection of real foods snacks you can make — or buy.

Sometimes you don’t have the time to make your own snacks — or you need something with better “keeping power” than homemade. In that case, you might try some of these healthier-than-usual storebought options.
