I was recently offered the chance to try out Yoplait Kids’ yogurt in exchange for a review here. Although the ideal (to me) is to make one’s own yogurt, the fact is many of us don’t have the time, don’t want to, or have other priorities. Even those of us who do make our own, usually, have times when life gets crazy and something has to be let go — making yogurt may just be one of those things. 🙂
Yoplait Kids’ is a good snack option for these scenarios. It contains live cultures and does not include artificial sweeteners. (That is not the case with all of the Yoplait product lines, so read labels!) The yogurt comes in small containers (4 oz., I think) that are great for portion control when snacking, or for packing in a lunch. It’s also really thick and creamy. The only real downside I found is that the packaging tempts my children to choose which one to purchase based on the characters pictured on the packaging, rather than by flavor. If your kids like all of the flavors, this might not be a big deal, but it could be a problem if there’s one flavor that they just hate, and it’s the one with their favorite character on the package!

Disclosure: The product (coupon), information about Yoplait Kids, and both prize packs were provided to me by Yoplait. All opinions expressed in this post are my own.
